Thanks to the fair geographical position of Palazzuolo sul Senio, just halfway between Tuscany and Romagna, it is possibile to visit a lot of interesting places – full of history: such as the other villages of High and Low Mugello, full of history and plunged into one of the most beautiful landscapoes of Tuscany; or the International circuit Mugello, which is only 27 km away; or the Bilancino Lake, bathing tourist destination; or Florence, worldwide symbol of art and renaissance.
Whereas moving towards the border of the region, (about 10 km) it is possible to reach Emilia Romagna and the town belonging to the Terre di Faenza, famous for the officinal herbs, for the curative waters and for the “Il brisighello” olive oil. It is possible to reach Faenza, ancient and elegant town of art, known for its ceramics and its international museum; or to reach Ravenna, where it is possible to visit the mosaics, Dante’s tomb, Teodorico’s mausoleum; or move along the Adria Coast, along the Riviera Romagnola and visit the theme park of Mirabilandia and kilometres of well-equipped beaches.
